Ruth Shai, popularly known as "Rueth", is a South African R&B and pop singer, performer, and songwriter from Solomondale, Limpopo. Born on January 27, Ruth graduated from Mafolofolo High School and subsequently pursued Psychology at the University of South Africa. She has been highlighted in various publications including British Hip Hop, Hype Magazine, Independent Music and Arts Insider, New Music Weekly and many more.

Rueth discovered her singing talent at a young age and made her debut in the music industry in 2021 with the release of her first single, style, which propelled her further into the music world. subsequently later released two albums: "I'm Rueth" in 2021, followed by "The Playlist" in 2022.

Her distinctive voice resonated with her newly acquired fans, drawing inspiration from her favorite artists, including Shekhinah, Motlanalo, Sabrina Carpenter, Tems, and Ayra Starr.

Rueth is elevating her music every day. She is currently working with Tarue Records on a new album, which is expected to be released 2025.
